Human-animal communication - Human-animal communication is any process by which humans and animals are able to communicate with each other. Basic ability to communicate with animals is necessary for domesticated animals as well as working animals, while deeper methods of communication are a common theme in fiction.
Symbolic communication - Symbolic communication is exchange of messages that change a priori expectation of events. Examples of this are modern communication technology as also exchange of information amongst animals.
