51st Highland Volunteers - The 51st Highland Volunteers was a regiment in the British Army's Territorial Army (TA) or reserve force in the Scottish Highlands. In contrast with the 52nd Lowland Volunteers, a similar regiment located in the Lowlands of Scotland, the 51st Highland Volunteers were comprised of a number of infantry companies scattered in various regions of the Highlands.
